It’s always interesting to get a first glance at the acts the UK music and media industry are tipping for great things in 2015 via the BBC Sound of 2015 list. In many cases, you’ve acts who’re already fairly well known – we’ve been writing about Soak for over two years at this stage, for instance – and others who seem to already come pre-destined for lists like this – you can expect James Bay and Lapsley to feature on every list to appear in the coming weeks).

The 15 acts to make the cut and who might well follow in the footsteps of Sam Smith or Haim or Ellie Goulding, all previous winners, are as follows:

James Bay (OTR new music profile from November 2012)
George The Poet
Kwabs (OTR new music profile from February 2013)
Lapsley (as tipped by Annie Mac last week)
Rae Morris
Raury (OTR new music profile from May 2014)
Slaves (as featured in OTR last week)
Soak (as featured in OTR back in August 2012)
Sunset Sons
Wolf Alice
Years & Years
