Hey, it’s a list! We mark six months of new releases with 33 of the albums released in 2012 which we’re still listening to. Some of these will make the final cut when the big list is compiled in six months time and some won’t because there’s another six months of new releases to come (and I reckon I might have to find room on the list for new records from Frank Ocean, Adrian Crowley, The xx, Animal Collective, Purity Ring, Cat Power, The Very Best, Micachu & The Shapes, Fish Go Deep, Dirty Projectors and Grizzly Bear). Plus there are a bunch of new albums sitting around which I’ve yet to get around to actually listening to.

Albums are in no particular order bar the albums at numbers one, two and three. Links provided to reviews and interviews which I’ve done for The Ticket. Please feel free to add your own suggestions in the comments below (but youse knew that already).
