The essential tunes on the OTR jukebox this week. Please feel free to add your own selections below.

Nicolas Jaar “Space Is Only Noise” (Circus Company)

The US-Chilean producer behind one of the year’s most intriguing albums is Co Westmeath-bound to play the Body & Soul festival in June.

Clock Opera “Belongings” (Moshi Moshi)

Superb new single from possibly the most inventive and imaginative new British bands on the beat.

Elbow “With Love” (Fiction)

An unlikely anthemic cut from “Build A Rocket Boys!” as Elbow show you can reach for the sonic stars without turning into Bono. Listen to the song here.

Katie Kim “Heavy Lighting” (Self release)

First snapshot from the forthcoming second album from Waterford’s Katie Kim is a superbly pitched wash of post-midnight moody blues.

Big Audio Dynamite “This Is Big Audio Dynamite” (Columbia)

Let’s hope the reformed Big Audio Dynamite hitting this year’s Electric Picnic come with all the swagger of their debut album.
