The National Youth Council of Ireland is asking young Irish people living abroad to get in touch with their views on returning to Ireland in advance of a conference on the topic next Tuesday, September 16th.

‘Home is where the heart is’  will explore the barriers which prevent young emigrants returning to live in Ireland, what supports are needed to help them move back, and what the components of a strategy to encourage return migration should be.

Emigrants who want to ask something of the expert panel of speakers or contribute to the discussion can send their questions and comments to research@nyci.ie, or via Twitter @nycinews using the hashtag #homeheart. The event will be streamed live from Dublin Castle from 10am to 4pm at youth.ie.

For more information about the panels and speakers, see youth.ie/homeheart
