|What is a gift redemption code?
||A gift redemption code is what allows The Irish Times to recognize you as the recipient of a gift subscription. You receive this code in an email notifying you that you’ve received a gift. You must use this code when you redeem your gift in order to activate your gift subscription.
|How long does my gift voucher last?
||You have six months to redeem your voucher after you have received your voucher code. If you have not received a voucher code please check your spam folder in your email or contact our Customer Care Team.
|How do I redeem my gift subscription?
||To redeem your gift subscription, click the ‘Redeem Your Gift’ button in the gift subscription email you received. Alternatively, click on the link below that matches your gift and enter the redemption code provided in the email:

|When does my gift subscription begin?
||Your subscription begins as soon as you redeem the code provided in the email.
|What happens at the end of the gift subscription period?
||You will no longer have unlimited access to The Irish Times website and the Irish Times apps that were included in your subscription. If you would like to regain unlimited access, you may purchase a subscription here. We will also notify you via email when your gift subscription is going to end to give you the option of purchasing a subscription to extend your access.

||Yes, your subscription gives you access on up to three devices simultaneously so you can share with family and friends.
|Do I have to log in or create an account to redeem my code?
||Yes. During the redemption process you will be asked to either sign in, if you already have an account, or create an account if you are a new customer to use your gift.
|What should I do if I received a gift subscription, but I am already an Irish Times subscriber?
||If you receive a gift subscription for a subscription you already have, you can cancel your current subscription to redeem. To cancel, please contact our Customer Care Team using our contact page at least ten business days in advance of your monthly billing date.
|What happens if I lose my gift redemption code?
||If you are unable to find the email you received with the redemption code, you can reach out to the friend or family member who purchased the Irish Times gift subscription.You will need to provide the email address of the person who gave you the gift. You can then contact our Customer Care Team.
