Farm walkA free walk and tour of Castlefarm, a 170-acre organic dairy farm in Narraghmore between Athy and Kilcullen in Co Kildare, takes place tomorrow at 2pm.

Winter kayakingThere is no need to hang up your paddles and kayak during these dark winter months! Shearwater Sea Kayaking in Howth, Co Dublin, is doing winter sea kayaking trips to either Skerries or Lambay on November 23rd and 30th. The trips are suitable for those with experience looking for further adventure, exposure and experience in offshore sea kayaking. Full moon walksExtreme Ireland is organising special "Full Moon Walks" in the Wicklow mountains throughout the winter. The walks will last between three and four hours and will give a great insight into what goes on with local wildlife at night-time. Beginning at 7pm, they will also give people an opportunity to gain winter hiking and night navigation experience. The next walk takes place on Friday December 12th. www.extremeireland.ie

Extreme sportsCelebrity extreme sportsman, Leo Houlding, will give a lecture at the 53° North store in Carrickmines, Co Dublin, on Tuesday, December 2nd. Organised by the Mountaineering Council of Ireland (MCI) and the store, Holding's talk will give a whirlwind world tour of his latest adventures. From the Lake District in the UK, Holding has covered a wide range of adventure activities including bouldering at 28,000 feet on Everest, riding erupting volcanoes, and base jumping into caves.
