Cobh supporters may seek injunction
Supporters group Friends of Cobh Ramblers may seek a High Court injunction to prevent the club’s board proceeding with a plan to offer St Colman’s Park to the FAI for €500,000.
The plan was approved at an EGM yesterday in order to pay off debts but the sale and leaseback proposal has not yet been approved by the FAI.
Friends of Cobh Ramblers believe it is not necessary to sell the ground in order to clear the debt.
Cobh have until the end of the month to get finances in order and obtain their league licence.
