Fitzwilliam to host Davis Cup tie

Tennis: Ireland’s second-round Davis Cup clash against Lithuania in Group II of the Euro/Africa Zone will take place at Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club from July 9th-11th.

The Dublin venue was a sell-out for the decisive 4-1 first-round victory over Turkey earlier this month, with the clash against Lithuania taking place indoors.

Lithuania travels to Ireland coming off of a 3-2 win over Great Britain. The only other time these two nations met resulted in an Irish victory back in 2007.

Tennis Ireland will put tickets on sale on April 26th.
