David Wallace
Ireland (Munster)
Became the third member of the Wallace family, behind brothers Richard and Paul to be capped for Ireland and the Lions when he was honoured as a replacement in 2001.
He played only seven times between the summers of 2003 and 2005 for Ireland but on the back of Munster's 2006 Heineken Cup triumph he's kept a firm grip on the number seven jersey.
He's been exceptional for province and country this season. Extremely quick, he is a powerful ball carrier and a great defender and could play any one of the three back row positions in the test series.
As with so many of his team-mates, was well short of his best against the Royal XV and will be eager to set the record straight as the tour progresses.
Wallace was replaced by his Ireland team-mate Stephen Ferris after 48 minutes against the Golden Lions.
