Embarking on his third Lions experience, the 33-year-old is no longer the force of nature he once was but is nevertheless a serious operator who leads by example.

Seems to have overcome the series of back and neck injuries that threatened his career but, despite an excellent relationship with his Wasps coach McGeechan, is unlikely to force his way into the test reckoning.
