Andrew Sheridan
England (Sale Sharks)
Needs to regain the level of performance he displayed in the 2007 World Cup, when the Australian scrum was pounded into submission, if the Sale giant wants stake a claim for a test role.
Toured with the Lions in 2005 but failed to feature in any of the test matches, his seven appearances coming in the early stages of that ill-fated trip.
Remains a destructive scrummager on his day and is capable of making the hard yards with ball in hand but hasn't enjoyed the best of seasons for club or country and has struggled with injury.
Was perhaps at fault for the first try against the Royal XV, where he tackled the wrong man, but turned in an otherwise solid display.
