Euan Murray
Scotland (Northampton Saints)
The clear frontrunner for the test team, the Northampton tighthead is a favourite of scrum coach Graham Rowntree.
Performed well against the Springboks last Autumn but a rib injury limited his role in Scotland's disappointing Six Nations campaign. Now back to full fitness, Murray is among the top props in world rugby and the South Africans won't relish him packing down against them.
For all his prowess in the scrum, will need to show more in the loose if the Lions hope to defy the odds and claim a series win.
