No changes for Sheedy and Tipp
GAA: Liam Sheedy has opted to stick with the personnel that beat Waterford ahead of the All-Ireland final against Kilkenny at Croke Park on Sunday.
The manager had no injury concerns to contend with after the 3-19 to 1-18 win over the Deise and has kept faith in the side to prevent a historic five-in-a-row from Brian Cody’s Cats.
Loughmore-Castleiney teenager Noel McGrath is likely to switch to centre forward from corner forward, while Patrick Maher is going to the left wing and John O’Brien into the full forwards pointing six times against Davy Fitzgerald’s side.
Tipperary (SHC v Kilkenny): B Cummins; P Stapleton, P Curran, M Cahill; D Fanning (vice-captain), C O’Mahony, Pádraic Maher; B Maher, S McGrath; G Ryan, Patrick Maher, J O’Brien; N McGrath, E Kelly (capt.), L Corbett.
