Daly extends Dublin contract
GAA: Anthony Daly will remain at helm as Dublin senior hurling manager until 2011 after his contract was extended by a further year.
Daly played a key role as the Dublin hurlers made strong progress this year by reaching the final of the Leinster championship before losing to eventual All-Ireland champions Kilkenny.
They were then knocked out of the All-Ireland by Limerick at the quarter-final stage.
Earlier in the year Dublin finished fourth in Division One after National League wins over Cork, Galway and Waterford.
“Under Anthony’s management we are confident that the team can continue their progress over the coming two seasons,” said John Costello, Dublin County Board.
