Munster’s Simon Zebo ready for first start of the season

Simon Zebo is in line to make his first appearance of the season when Munster take on Benetton Treviso in the Pro12 next weekend.

The British and Irish Lions winger sat out last Friday night’s bonus point win over Zebre but is on course to get a run at the Stadio Monigo as Munster seek to maintain their 100 per cent start to the new campaign.

Fellow Ireland internationals Keith Earls and Peter O'Mahony are also in contention after sitting out both of Munster's games so far this season but Tommy O'Donnell and Ian Nagle have both been ruled out of Friday's match.

O’Donnell and Nagle flew home from the province’s training camp in Lake Garda after picking up injuries against Zebre and were due to have scans earlier today.
