Jackson and McSharry in training squad
Rugby:Eleven of the Wolfhounds beaten by England Saxons in Galway on Friday evening have been included in Ireland’s 33-man training ahead of the Six Nations opener against Wales on Saturday.
Connacht centre Dave McSharry and Ulster outhalf Paddy Jackson have been included despite picking up knocks in the A international at the Sportsground.
They are joined by props Michael Bent, David Kilcoyne, Declan Fitzpatrick and Tom Court, wingers Luke Fitzgerald, backrowers Iain Henderson, Kevin McLaughlin, hooker Mike Sherry and lock Devin Toner.
There is, however, no place for Ulster wing Andrew Trimble, or Munster backrowers James Coughlan and Tommy O’Donnell, both of whom impressed against the Saxons.
