Adrian Heskin handed six-day ban under the Turf Club’s ‘non-trier’ rules

Penalty comes over five months after riding Foxrock at Punchestown

Over five months after riding Foxrock at Punchestown, jockey Adrian Heskin has wound up with a six day ban under the Turf Club's 'non-trier' rules.

A steward's enquiry held at Kilbeggan on Friday, on the back of last week's publication of a Referrals Committee report into the reopened case examining Foxrock's running and riding in December, concluded with Heskin suspended for six days under Rule 212.

A Turf Club spokesman said the normal seven-day penalty for such an offence was reduced since Heskin had already served a one-day ban imposed on the day of the controversial race.
