Antrim 1-14 Cavan 2-09:A solid second-half performance at Casement Park yesterday saw Antrim beat Cavan in a below-par game that failed to send the pulses soaring.

Cavan went in at half-time leading by 1-5 to 0-7 thanks to a Mark McKeever goal.

The home team took the lead for the first time when Michael Pollock netted.

Cavan got a goal back when Martin Dunne scored from the penalty spot. That, however, didn’t have the desired effect, with the teams exchanging two points apiece before the end.
