Pembroke another big test for Railway Union

A week after letting a two-goal lead slip in their draw with leaders UCD, Railway Union have another testing league fixture, against in-form Pembroke Wanderers.

Pembroke moved within a point of Railway and three behind UCD when they beat Old Alexandra last week, having drawn with third-placed Loreto the Saturday before.

Sternest test
This, though, will the sternest test yet of their credentials; their defence, which has conceded just three goals in six games, coming up against the free-scoring Railway attack.

Loreto and UCD will expect to add three more points to their tallies when they take on the bottom two, Trinity and North Kildare, respectively, while Alexandra will hope to get back on track against Corinthian after losing their last three games. Hermes are away to Glenanne.
