BRITISH AND IRISH CUP Rotherham Titans 21 Munster 36:Reigning champions Munster have now won three games and are firmly on course to reach the quarter finals again after convincingly beating Rotherham by five tries to two at Clifton Lane in South Yorkshire.

Munster scored twice in the first half with the award of a penalty try and then winger Luke O’Dea completed a fine move helping them to a 15-14 interval lead.

Munster fully exploited the weakness of their opponents following a yellow card to forward Dan Sanderson by scoring two converted tries in only four minutes through hooker and skipper Sean Henry and fly half Scott Deasy.

That put Munster 36-14 in front and helped secure the visitors a bonus point.

Outhalf Deasy finished with a significant personal tally of 16 points thanks to a try, four conversions and a penalty
