Moate prove too strong for St Benildus


Moate CS 2-13 ST Benildus 1-5:Moate Community School proved much too strong for St Benildus in the first round of the Leinster Colleges senior football A championship in Rosemount, Co Westmeath, yesterday.

St Benildus stayed in touch until Theo Watts struck for a goal for Moate CS in the 48th minute. In the closing moments, Seán Bedford failed to convert a penalty for St Benildus.
