Lee back on the winning trail again

Mon, Feb 11, 2013, 00:00

Andy Lee, Jamie Conlan – a brother of Olympic bronze medallist Michael – Daniel McShane, Jamie Fryers and Martin Rogan all won on the Carl Frampton undercard in Belfast on Saturday, but Martin Lindsey lost to Lee Selby for the British featherweight title.

Limerick southpaw Lee, in his first fight back since losing his world title tilt to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in El Paso last summer, beat Anthony Fitzgerald on points. He may now face stablemate Darren Barker this summer.

Rogan had an easy four-round victory over Czech journeyman Ladislav Kovarik and is hoping to be drawn against Audley Harrison in an eight-man Prizefighter event later this month.
