Katla can strike again for Grogan

RACING:It is over two years since Katla and John Grogan first jumped to black-type prominence and a return to Yorkshire for the final fixture of the British turf season at Doncaster this afternoon can see them strike again, writes BRIAN O'CONNOR

Billy Lee again takes the mount on the filly whose career has represented a fairytale for her owner-breeder-trainer Grogan whose Cashel stable consists of just Katla. In today’s Listed Wentworth Stakes she tackles Britain’s finest but reputations have counted for little since Katla beat the subsequent class performer Barefoot Lady at York in 2010.
