visiting green fees for 2014? The club has two young adult membership categories aimed at attracting those who play other sports: adults aged 25-30 can join for £375.50 and those aged 18-24 can join for £159.50.

What's the biggest challenge facing clubs? Revenue streams from clubhouse services have been affected, probably by increased awareness of drink-driving but, also, there seems to be a large section of the older generation who don't have time to play golf as regularly because they are looking after grandchildren.

What's the main challenge facing clubs? The poor weather hasn't helped. Also, there has been a drop off in the numbers playing society golf.
