Mayo make just one change ahead of semi-final clash with Dublin

Chris Barrett has come in to replace the injured Tom Cunniffe for Sunday’s game

Mayo have made one change to the team that beat Donegal in the All-Ireland quarter-final. For Sunday's sell-out semi-final with Dublin Chris Barrett, who came into the last match for Tom Cunniffe, starts in place of the same player, who sustained a hamstring injury in the match.

The team shows five changes from the side that lost narrowly to Dublin in the All-Ireland final two years ago. Goalkeeper David Clarke, centrefielder Tom Parsons, wing forward Diarmuid O’Connor, Barry Moran and Jason Doherty are all included with Rob Hennelly, Alan Freeman, Alan Dillon, Andy Moran and Cunniffe the players who lose out.

Moran played very well in the sweeper role against Donegal and Michael Murphy and is named at corner forward but is unlikely to fulfil the same responsibilities against Dublin.

This will be Mayo’s fifth successive All-Ireland semi-final, of which they have so far won two, against Dublin in 2012 and Tyrone a year later, and lost two, both against Kerry, last year after a replay and four years ago.
