An All-Ireland hangover appeared to afflict Cork more than Clare and they were lucky to secure promotion. The gains made by the forwards last year will, however, continue to give them a big say in the championship. Consolidating the rest of the team and renewing momentum will be the challenge.


Last good day: Unlikely comeback in last year's drawn All-Ireland saw them within seconds of winning the title.
