Frankel 'bouncing'

RACING:Frankel is “bouncing” ahead of his quest to stretch his 100 per cent record to 12 races at Glorious Goodwood next month.

The Qipco Sussex Stakes on August 1st will, as expected, be the next port of call.

Sir Henry Cecil’s charge will then head to York for the Juddmonte International on August 22nd, when he tackles a mile and a quarter for the first time.

Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said: “Frankel is in very good form. He came back from Ascot in great nick – bouncing, eating, kicking.”
