A look ahead to this weekend's matches in the English FA Cup

Aston Villa v Ipswich

Villa Park, Today, 3pm

Darren Bent, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Charles NZogbia could return but Ashley Westwood is out for Villa. Ipswich’s leading scorer, DJ Campbell, has returned to QPR so Michael Chopra will come in. Loanees Stephen Henderson and Bradley Orr are not allowed play.

Tottenham v Coventry

White Hart Lane, Today, 3.pm

Left back Benoit Assou-Ekotto looks set to make his first Tottenham appearance in four months and Scott Parker his first start of the season as Spurs look to rotate their squad. Coventry will be without leading scorer David McGoldrick after his loan ended.

Macclesfield v Cardiff

Ryan Jackson is suspended for the home side, while striker Matthew Barnes-Homer is a major doubt. Cardiff could rest their entire first-choice XI, with Stephen McPhail, who has not featured since the first day of the season, possibly returning.

Brighton’s Will Buckley and Bruno are likely to be unavailable, while Vicente is still not fit. Newcastle’s Cheick Tiote has left for the African Nations, while Steven Taylor, Yohan Cabaye, Ryan Taylor, Ben Arfa, Jonas Gutierrez, Dan Gosling and Haris Vuckic are all out.
