Chinese club confirm Lampard talks

Frank Lampard could be heading for China after Guizhou Renhe confirmed yesterday they are in talks with the Chelsea midfielder.

Lampard has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League since March but despite speculation intensifying recently, Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has dismissed the reports.

“Yes, we are in contact with Lampard but so far nothing has been settled,” said Guizhou Renhe deputy board chairman Yang Xiayou.
