A chara, – I see that “the traffic light located at Newlands Cross in Dublin is to be removed under a €282 million road-building project that will create more than 1,000 jobs” (Home News, May 1st). Good Lord, that must be one serious traffic light.
However, I applaud this innovative capital- and labour-intensive policy regarding traffic light removal and can only imagine how many jobs would be created if the same approach were adopted between Dublin and Bray! – Is mise,
