Sir, – There has been some debate of late about the merits of following the lead of our nearest neighbour and leaving the EU. No doubt there will be further debate to come, but before we continue, can we do something about the awful name that has been given to such an event, “Irexit”? This clumsy title seems to be the best that the Irish media can do, and indeed I could not think of an alternative until it came to be in a flash while I was enjoying my customary Sunday morning fry. A name that truly captures the spirit of the Irish people, I submit for your consideration, “Full Irish Brexit”. – Yours, etc,
