Sir, – On Thursday last we witnessed the sad spectacle of Nicky Byrne for Ireland not progressing to the Eurovision final. The reason, I believe, is that his song was some 15 years behind the times, while the Eurovision is only about 10 years behind the times, and in an alternate universe. – Yours, etc,
