An article in yesterday’s edition, concerning a “restricted” priest working in a Dublin parish, said that involved persons and the parish can be named for legal reasons. It should have said that they cannot be named for legal reasons. The headline over the article referred to a child worker. This may have suggested that the woman concerned was an employee whearas in fact she was a volunteer.

A caption in the Home Rule supplement in yesterday’s edition mistakenly referred to John Redmond as an MP for Co Wicklow. Although he lived in the county, he represented New Ross, Co Wexford, (1881 to 1885), North Wexford (1885 to 1891), and Waterford City (from 1891 until his death in 1918).
