An opinion piece in last Monday’s edition, concerning the Late Late Show 50th Anniversary programme, said that the RTÉ Concert Orchestra “is just about to be axed”. There are no plans to axe the orchestra. RTÉ confirms that the orchestra is embarking on a busy summer season and plans for its autumn/ winter season are well advanced.
An article in yesterday’s edition, concerning the bonus maths system in the Leaving Certificate, said that students must achieve a C3 or higher to secure the extra points. They must secure a D3 or higher.
