DUBAI – Yemen’s outgoing president Ali Abdullah Saleh says he will leave for medical treatment in the United States and will return to continue leading the ruling party, but he has given no indication of when he will leave the troubled country.
A source close to Mr Saleh said yesterday he was set to leave within hours for the US via neighbouring Oman.Mr Saleh expressed the hope that he would return to Yemen. – (Reuters)
