One more Pop at it

Iggy Pop has announced his intention to reunite with former Stooges guitarist James Williamson to reform the most famous Stooges line-up - minus bassist Ron Asheton, who died earlier this year.

Pop said that he had recently met with Williamson to discuss a reunion. The pair, who wrote the seminal punk album Raw Power together in 1973, had not seen each other in "30 years", according to the singer.
