Armagh still hold the aces

FOOTBALL: Armagh v Monaghan - GAME OF the weekend. Armagh are seeking a second coming, with a team constructed largely from the second wave of Armagh underage talent since the turn of the century.

Stevie McDonnell and Ronan Clarke continue to spearhead the attack, while Aidan O’Rourke returns to a solid half-back line alongside captain Ciarán McKeever and Aaron Kernan.

Monaghan were holding out for news on Tommy Freeman’s DRA case last night, but, even still, Armagh appear to have too many weapons.
