Wed 07 Jul 2008Slalom course proves a treat
SAILING CORK WEEK:SLALOM COURSES received a firm thumbs-up from the competitors at ACC Cork Week yesterday as winds gusting to 20 knots produced exciting racing conditions off Roche's Point. But an incomplete Harbour Course for some classes for the second day was a disappointment for the organisers.
The 410 entries are split across respective classes and into fleets within the event, each receiving a different style of racing each day that has proven probably the most appealing aspect of this biennial event.
