  • Testing set for out of competition

    GAA players will soon be subject to out-of-competition testing under the Irish Sports Council's Anti-Doping programme. So far all tests carried out on GAA players, which last year numbered 44, have been taken during competition, thus limiting the effectiveness of the programme. p
  • Amateur status report awaited

    The report of the GAA's Amateur Status Review Committee will be presented to Saturday's Central Council meeting in Croke Park. The meeting, however, will be held in camera and the recommendations of the report are unlikely to be revealed in full. p
