Galway estate agents Jeff Smith and Co is taking bookings for seven of the eight bungalows under construction at Clifden in Connemara, Co Galway. The development, Owenglin, is located near the highly successful Clifden Glen scheme which was completed a few years ago. The 1,239 sq ft three-bedroom bungalows are priced at £145,000 and will be ready for occupation before the end of the year. Each of the homes stands on about a quarter of an acre.

Located just off the Galway Road on the way into Clifden, the development is nicely concealed from the road and runs down to the banks of the Owenglin river. The bungalows have a spacious livingroom/diningroom, an adjacent kitchen and utility room, and three good-sized bedrooms, one of them en suite. They also have double glazing, oil fired central heating and good quality kitchens. The houses are less than a mile from Clifden and, according to Jeff Smith, they should sell quickly because they are realistically priced.
