OPINION:Consumers are being forgotten in the changes to financial regulation. They could again be subjected to many additional charges
WITH FURTHER Government funding likely to be necessary for Anglo Irish Bank, Bank of Scotland departing the Irish marketplace, and existing Irish banks increasing mortgage charges, it seems the Irish consumer is paying in every sense of the word for the chronic misjudgments of the Irish financial services sector in the last number of years.
