Puppet on a string

Actor Tom Conti’s ventriloquist and comedian daughter Nina heads an international line-up for the 16th International Puppet Festival of Ireland on September 16th-21st.

The venues for the festival are the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire, the Mill Theatre in Dundrum, and the Lambert Puppet Theatre in Monkstown. Conti’s appearane at the Pavilion Theatre on September 18th is for adults only, but there are lots of acts children will love, including the Karromato Wooden Circus from the Czech Republic (left).
