A night for chocolate lovers

Bargains abound at the moment, but the Easter chocolate event at Harvey Nichols in Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, next Thursday night is a no-brainer. The ticket price of €35 includes a two-course dinner with a glass of wine in the First Floor restaurant, followed by entry to the Foodmarket’s chocolate tasting and meet-the-suppliers event.

After all that, you’ll go home with a goodie bag worth €20. Tickets for the Foodmarket tasting without dinner are €10, and you’ll still get to take home the goodie bag. Book on 01-2910488. On the night, guests will be tasting the limited edition eggs being made for the shop by Spanish chocolatier Enric Rovira. Only 200 of these eggs will be made, and one will contain a “golden ticket” which will invite the winner to fly to Barcelona for a workshop with Rovira, followed by dinner and a night in a city centre hotel. There are three designs in the range and each costs €34.95.
