Peter Cunningham

In The Irish Times of Saturday January 8th, 2011, we published at the top of page 3 words which stated that Peter Cunningham was the author of “A nonsense of a novel, as irritating and as archly knowing as it is pretentious”.

We acknowledge that the name of Peter Cunningham was unintentionally printed and that the words in question did not refer to a novel written by Peter Cunningham. We acknowledge the damage caused to Mr Cunningham’s reputation and apologise for it.
