UCC invitation to BNP leader pulled

The planned participation by British National Party leader Nick Griffin in a debate at University College Cork next month will not now go ahead after a college society withdrew its invitation to Mr Griffin.

Mr Griffin was scheduled to participate in a debate organised by the society on February 23rd.

Last October an invitation to Mr Griffin to speak at a Trinity College Dublin debate was also withdrawn.
