SOME institutions pre-date the State but continue to flourish. The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club which, despite its name, has members nationwide, was founded in 1874, but is still going strong.
On Monday, the club’s 133rd annual exhibition opens to the public for a fortnight at the Concourse Gallery in the County Hall, Dún Laoghaire.
