ABOUT 100 members of the public were taken by surprise yesterday when they were treated to an unexpected free lunch on Dublin’s Dame Street.

Just after 1.30pm, the pedestrians were guided to chairs at long tables outside City Hall and were persuaded to tuck in to organic and home-grown food as part of a campaign to promote the “Street Feast” initiative.
