A THIRD man was charged yesterday evening over a botched attempted armed robbery of a jewellery shop on Dawson Street, in Dublin city centre last Friday.

Three men entered the Dawson Jewellers and were confronted by members of staff and the public. One required hospital treatment after he was tackled by shop owner Ken McDonagh.
