Restaurant in Bandon fined over hygiene

ONE FOOD business was prosecuted and another served with a closure order last month for breaching food safety legislation, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland has said.
The Golden Dragon Chinese and Thai restaurant, Market Quay, Bandon, Co Cork, was prosecuted under hygiene regulations. The restaurant operator was fined €250 on each of six charges and ordered to pay costs of €1,000 at the court hearing on October 2nd.
Officers also served a closure order on a restaurant in Dublin. The closure order was served on Yue Lai Xiang restaurant, 100a Parnell Street, Dublin.
