AN INFESTATION of bed bugs at Listowel Community Hospital in Co Kerry has seen a number of patients relocated, all admissions cancelled and the closure of some wards in an effort to eradicate them, the HSE has confirmed.
Visiting is also restricted until fumigation takes place at the 63-bed hospital, which caters mainly for the elderly. It will take about two weeks before the hospital is fully-operational again.
